I was shocked and saddened to learn of Lois' passing. My mom and I made my first big quilt from fabric Lois helped us choose at Country Cloth in the 70's. From there the friendship with Lois grew. I just recently chatted with her at the local guild's quilt show at the Armory. I've admired her positive attitude for many years and her resilience.
