The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eugene Euwer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Memories...

"Back in the day"- Gene had a pretty good sized strawberry patch along the north side of London Rd.

He would only hire kids and had an old schol bus that brought us to and from the fields each day.

I remember hard work and fun times w/ many of my upper valley friends- which included the Euwer girls.

At the end of the season he took us -in the bus- to Lost Lk for a party. Gene bought several watermelons and would put them in the water to stay cool til we wanted them. 

He was always positive and encouraging. Our families also skied together at the Cooper Spur Ski area and many times I stayed the night with Nathalie (in the feather bed!) Gene & Meg were always wonderful hosts.

He will be greatly missed- The Euwer family has left quite a legacy on their Cooper Spur Farm in Parkdale.
