It has been a long long time since Mr. Thomas was my teacher at Mid Valley and also my tumbling and badminton coach. Even after all these years, he still remembered the time I was "practicing" tumbling on my bed and put my foot through the sheet rock. It happened to be just before a tumbling competition and he talked my mom into letting me go rather than ground me, like she wanted to. The last time I saw him was at my 40th Wy'east reunion five years ago. I'll miss not seeing him this year at our 45th. He was a very special man.
