To all of Dave's family. Dave was a contemporary of my father, Clarence Waliser. I remember from an early age how important his advice was to the success of our small farm. Dave is one of the people that inspired me to become a horticulturist I always enjoyed speaking with him and the counsel he provided. I will always remember that and continue to try to contribute to the industry just as he did. One of his strengths to me was that he was good at listening and from that usually had a gem of an idea that he was willing to share. People like Dave are always missed because they give so much. I hope the entire family understands that and takes comfort that he inspired many of us. Kent Waliser.
