We are all diminished by Doug's passing. Having spent many hours on the old HRHS football field together, I remember him as a fiesty and spirited teammate, a player who gave his all. I look back on those years and remember those in the class of '66 as being my big brothers...and rivals. He once called me his football twin as we were both under weight for our height. He leaves with good meomories.
