Condolences

Condolence From: Greg Oates
Condolence: We are all diminished by Doug's passing. Having spent many hours on the old HRHS football field together, I remember him as a fiesty and spirited teammate, a player who gave his all. I look back on those years and remember those in the class of '66 as being my big brothers...and rivals. He once called me his football twin as we were both under weight for our height. He leaves with good meomories.

Condolence From: John Mohr
Condolence: I'm sorry for your loss. Doug and I were running partners along with Elliott Huseby our senior year at HRHS and later roommates in Portland after Doug got out of the Army. The last time we talked I remember how proudly Doug spoke of his daughter.

Condolence: Jenny,
We are so very sorry for your loss.
I have many fond memories of Uncle Doug, riding in his Hot Rods,Grandma & Grandpa bring lunch to his new apartment for an impromptu picnic,or Christmases with Doug's voice as Santa while Darren and Ashley and I would hide in the bedroom waiting for the magic to begin.
He is truly loved by all of us and forever in our hearts.
Our Love & Thoughts will always be with you
