Douglas Stephen Perkins passed away on November 24, 2015 at his home in Hood River, Oregon. Doug was born on June 16, 1948 in Hood River to his parents Clarence Perkins and Jean Miller. He was the youngest of three after his oldest brother, Keith, and his older sister Cheryl.

Doug was a local and for those who knew him, he was always proud to let people know. Doug loved playing football in high school, and continued to be a Ducks football fan. Doug also enjoyed working in his yard and growing tomatoes to share with his neighbors.

Doug married Kathy Peterson in 1981, and in 1982 they had their first and only daughter, Jenny. Doug has joined Kathy, as she preceded him in death in 2010. Doug is survived by his daughter, Jenny, son-in-law, Chris, grandson, Leo, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

There will be a memorial service at The Columbia Gorge Hotel in The Falls Room on Saturday, March 26 from 12 noon to 2pm. All who knew Doug are welcome. Please RSVP to Jenny if you can attend, jenny.c.harmon@gmail.com.
