Cindy Cathey Rock

I am an artist who, after meeting Ellen and watching her paint, found inspiration in my own path. She saw the natural world with incisive clarity. She had brilliant use of color and brushstroke filled with spiritual meaning. Her paintings of the Columbia River Gorge are masterpieces for which she will forever be recognized. As much as she was an internationally recognized painter, she was also a kind and giving member of the Mosier community. It was an honor to know such a fine human being. Her vision and purity of heart were truly an inspiration and she will be dearly missed.
