A few years ago Ed and Nell were visiting family in CA. I worked on the Space Shuttle program at EAFB and an orbiter was diverted there for landing because of weather issues in FL. I took the Taylors to the Base to see the landing and time was getting close, our excitement was mounting. Nell took off running across the pad with me trying to keep pace. She was always fun and an encourager.
