My Dad loved to take us roller skating at Oaks Amusement Park.  I'll always remember the annual TEK picknic held at Jantzen Beach Amusement Park. Also holidays at Alpenrose Dairy; Christmas, Easter, 4th of July.  My Father loved to decorate for the holidays. I loved the aluminum Christmas tree with the colored spinning light.  He saved money by buying a 3 color (blue/pink/green) piece of thin plastic to fit over the TV instead of buying a colored TV.
