Condolences

Condolence From: Becky MacKinnon
Condolence: This beautiful photo of Kay is exactly as I will always remember her. I will never forget when Kathy and I met in second grade. It was the day for our class photos and I "fixed" Kathy's hair. Kay would love to tell the story about the mess I made of Kathy's hair. I was very fortunate to have been folded with love into the Eaton family. My childhood would have been bleak had not met Kathy and spent hours playing "Heart and Soul" on the living room piano until I am sure Kay wanted to scream...but she never did! Red and Kay invited me on all of the boating trips with the boat club, which included spending time with all of the Husseys. In reading the family tribute to Kay, I had forgotten how much she love to sing. She was a kind and gentle person. When I grew up, Kay was our real estate agent and she spent endless time helping us find the perfect home(s) and sell the current home(s). Over the years we lost touch but a few years ago Kathy and I reconnected and I am grateful for this. I will miss sweet Kay. Sending all of my love to the family. Love, Kay's "adopted" daughter, Becky

Condolence: Even though our contact with Kay was brief as her Realtors she made made quite an impression on us. We found her to be very gracious, always up beat, very articulate and a consummate realtor even to the end. We shared many real estate stories and she was somewhat of a teammate in the process of selling her home. She will be missed by ourselves and many in the Charbonneau community that had the pleasure of getting to know her. We extend our sincere condolences to Kay's family at this difficult time. Condolence From: Steve Hussey
Condolence: The Eaton’s and Hussey’s had a very special relationship when we all grew up as kids. Kay was like a second mother to me, she always had a positive outlook on life. Kay was in the real estate business, and it seemed like she worked longer hours than anyone else, always on the go. Our families would get together on weekends for BBQ’s at their Northridge or Westlake Village homes or at our place in Woodland Hills. The most memorable times were our water skiing trips to so many different lakes (Pine Flats, Powell, San Antonio, Mead, Havasu, Crater, Shasta, Bass, etc.). Although we have not kept in touch, the last time I spoke to Kay, she was her usual self. When Kay and Red moved up to Oregon, our families lost touch over time. I have lived overseas for more than 30-years, I will cherish the fond memories of Kay and all the Eaton family.
Love,
Steve, Hanis, Chris, Nicole, Lisa & Wilma

Condolence: To The Eaton Family - We send our sincere condolences to you with the loss of your lovely Kay. She had a lust for life and everyone loved her. She always had a smile on her face and was one of the smartest ladies I know. She was my Real Estate partmer for over 12 years with Young Realtors and Prudential Calif. Realty. Kay was one of the best and successful realtors in the area. I remember that she loved her motor home while traveling the country with Red and their dog. She loved going on cruises with all of her friends. She especially love living on Westlake Village lake for many years enjoying her lake front home with their party boat and cruising to the local restaurants. We would talk for hours about our real estate transactions and our lifes and always came up with solutions. Kay has helped me in so may ways and was always there for me. I will miss her terribly.
Love to you all.

Condolence: We at Young/Realtors were privileged to work with Kay. She was gracious, very social and thorough but a tough negotiator. She was part of our industry during a great era.

Our deepest sympathy to all who cherished and loved her.
