Condolence: I worked with Jack on the UP out of La Grande. I liked Jack from day one and saw him at Wildhorse at times. I am so sorry for your loss and offer my condolences.

Condolence: So sad to read of Jacks passing.Jack was my adjutant during my years of Hood River Post #22 Commander of the American Legion and then as my Adj during my year of District commander for the Dept of Oregon..Jack was always eager to help in all of the activities and was truly my right hand man. I often recall of the two of us flying to Bend one evening to the Post meeting there. It was late evening when we came back and very dark. When we came over the east hills of Hood River valley I began a long straight in approach for the Hood River runway.i noticed Jack was a little edgy , I asked if he was alright , he stated that the strip looked a little small , realizing then he didnt know where we were so I informed him it was Hood River and that settled him down..We chuckled about that after wards on several occassions. Jack was a pleasure to have known.My thoughts and prayers go to the family .
