I have known Elaine since 1952, when I came to Mosier as a 7th grader and she was a senior. Consistently friendly and helpful. I always enjoyed seeing her at class reunions and other times, particularly when I taught at Mosier School and she was the resident cook. I think most of her kids eventually were in one of my classes, either at Mosier or Wahtonka. The last time I saw her was at my father's funeral, which was 1999. Rest in peace, old friend.
