Condolence From: Annette(Annie) Wells
Condolence: Mrs. Arens was one of my Mother’s (Jeannette Cochran Wells) dearest Hood River school friends. They shared several memories together throughout their lives.

My sincere sympathy to all family, in particular, John, whom I attended school with.
Memories are wonderful gifts we are given to help us during this time and with the future.

What a beautiful lady!

Condolence: Very sorry to hear. If I or may wife were out in our yard when Ada would pass on her frequent walks she would always stop to talk for a few minutes. When ever she was in the store where I work she always paused to trade news and chat for a while. She will be greatly missed my many.

Condolence From: Peggy L. Packer
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family. I only knew Ady for a short time, but enjoyed every minute of our visits when I delivered fresh eggs to her every week. I believe people are placed in our path for a reason, I may never know the exact reason Ady was placed in my path, but I'm certainly a better person for having known her for even a short time. I, as will many, will miss her and her enthusiasm for living a full life.

Condolence: Ady was a kind, sweet neighbor for many years. Our yellow Lab "found" her years ago and would head to her house every day for some love and a little tennis ball-throwing. When our two children were born, Ady made gorgeous quilts for each one, which are still much-treasured. We also have several Christmas tree ornaments which she made for us. Ady lives on in our house and in our hearts. What a remarkable woman. We will treasure her memory always. Our condolences to John and the rest of her family.

Condolence: Ady has been a friend of our family for 4 generations. Her generosity and humor will forever change us. She was a true friend to anyone in need. She was the type who (in her 90s no less) would stop by in the snow on Christmas Eve with a homemade breakfast pastry in tow. I will always treasure the adorable baby quilts, ornaments and clever cards from her. I’m thankful she was a part of my life.
