Ada Arnes passed away May 16, 2018 at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR. Ada was born November 13, 1922 and was 95 years of age at the time of her passing.

Life Story for Ada May Arens
Ada May Arens, “Ady” to her many friends, died on May 16, 2018 at Hood River Hospital in Hood River, OR. She was in the company of her three children and their spouses. She was 95 years young.As she outlived members of her generation, she became a “second mother” to many adults who appreciated her zest for life. She nourished newer and “younger” friends who were energized by her spirit and humor.
Ady is survived by Candace Kelly; Jill Jernstedt (Ken); John R. Arens (June Olson); 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
At Ady’s request, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. With her blessing, however, family and friends will gather “for a party” by invitation, later in the summer to celebrate her long and remarkable life. Commemorative donations may be sent to Hood River Children’s Park – GoFundMe (www.gofundme.com/childrenspark) or the donor’s preferred charity.
