I remember Uncle Bob's player piano when they lived on Pewaukee Lake -- the piano rolls included the Maple Leaf Rag, Fiddler on the Roof, etc. He would enjoy singing while us kids would pedal. Also, some of the crazy furniture -- the elephant footstool, a huge trunk used as a coffee table, and the high-backed wicker chair. And their Irish setter, Clancy. And the ice sailing races in the winter. They were just things around him, but also seem like expressions or extensions of his eccentric soul.
