Grandma,

   I know you already know this but you were truly the BEST Grandma anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for all the love that you gave to to me as a child that continued through my adulthood and down to my children. Our family has lost thier Matriarch on this earth, but heaven has gained a magnificant angel.

    Thank you for teaching me all your ways in the kitchen (my children thank you too). The kids always say "Momma your such a good cooker", and all I ever think is that it is because of you. You invited people, and family into your home and ALWAYS fed them well. No one ever left your home hungery. I know you would have found this so endearing.When I told Jesiah (5) that you had gone to heaven he sat and thought quietly for a few moments and then said to me "But Momma, who will bring us those nummy cookies now?"  I smiled and said "Well buddy, no one made those molasses cookies like Grandma,but she gave me the recipie"  I have a feeling I will be making  a lot of these...... I hope they are half as yummy as yours.

  There are so many memories, and so many stories, and until I see you again on the other side of those pearly gates, I will hold each one of them close to my heart.
