My Grandmother was called Flo Brown (Cooper) and she was sister to Lily. My father Douglas was Lily's nephew and therefore Vic was my Father's cousin. I knew him as Uncle Vic and of course Auntie Marje from Canada. My father was born in Canada after my grandparents got itchy feet and traveled from Liverpool UK to relocate for a few years in Canada. Later my Father Douglas and his two brothers Sid and Arthur returned to Liverpool and I was eventually born (1958) I grew up knowing I was named the same as my Uncle and had a second cousin in the US called Bruce. In recent years Bruce and I have made contact but are yet to meet but Julie and myself we pleased to be able to meet Marje and Vic on their travels when they came to Europe and they could spend some time at our home here in Lichfield UK Our thoughts are with Marje, Bruce and Sandi at this very sad time. This is a time for reflection but also a time to celebrate the life of a family man who made a lasting contribution to our world
