I remember the Scrantons as part of the group of parents who did so much for the community, treated all children as important, supported friends and neighbors both in times of need and in times of joy. The Scrantons were always at school activities, were friends with my parents and aunts and uncles, and they were aunt and uncle to some of my good friends. Lee and Connie were important in making my growing up years in Mt. Hood and Parkdale such a good thing. My thoughts are with Tommy and the girls and all the grandchildren, and especially Lee. I always think of Lee and Connie as a couple, and I know she will be greatly missed by all. She was a grand lady.
