Eddie's passing brings me great sorrow, it also brings me to pause and remember Eddie as he would want...a person more dedicated than Eddie could never be found; dedicated to his family his farm, his fire department, his friends and his community. My friendship and association with him extended from our days as students of vocational agriculture under "Pop" Bowman in 1951 to my retirement in 2000 and beyond. When Jo and I moved from the Valley in 2002, Eddie always stayed in touch and we lunched together many times as we caught up on the "happenings" of the Valley in the years before his health prohibited. We send our sympathy to Joan, Leland, Heidi, Danny and to his mother Althea, his sister Betty and to Kent and his "boys" and all his extended family. We will miss him, greatly.
