When I first moved to Hood River in August of 1980 I lived in a little house on the corner of 9th and Pine. My neighbors were Pyrg's Deli (owned by Martha capovilla) and Bev's Flower Basket. Bev was so kind to me as a newcomer to the community. I would stop in to just shoot the breeze and Bev would fill me in on all the latest gossip. She was my flower supplier to my future wife and any function that I needed her for at the high school. She was a wonderful ambassedor for our community. God bless you sweet lady. You are missed.
