My condolences to Billy's immediate and extended families. He was dominating Reseda Little League with his blazing fastball and wicked curveball when I met him and Brucie in the '60s. I can still hear his father, Fidel, yelling, "COME ON, BEEELLY!" when he was shutting down the opposition and outdueling Gary Brown. Although I was a couple of years younger, he always treated me with kindness and respect. I love to hear that he was touting "So Cal" to all of the Oregonians (many of which are probably No Cal transplants). Reseda boys rule. God bless you, Billy. Nice memories of you too, Bruce.
