Shirley, Patti, Jerry and family: reflecting on Ted....he was one of those special people you only meet a few times in your lifetime. He had such a gentle nature and whenever I would see him it was always a friendly wave of the hand, a warm greeting and a smile. When I look around at the orchards surrounding my fruitstand and neighborhood, the buildings and processing equipment at Diamond fruit, and being a part of the Westside Fire Department I know that Ted's vision, intelligence, work ethic and patience had a great deal to do with what we see today in the orchards and grounds around my home and also the facilities at Diamond and WS Fire.
