Rudy Michael Cochran also known as Rudy strap, Roo, Rudy tootie. Passed away at his home in Parkdale, Oregon on November 9th 2017. He was born on June 25th 1993 to Janet Stockton Bloom and Michael Cochran, in White Salmon, Washington. On that day the world became a better place. His two older sisters Shanna Cochran and Amanda Cochran Schaffer welcomed him with open, loving arms.

Rudy was raised in Parkdale, OR and went to Parkdale Elementary School, then attended Wy’east Middle School and went on to graduate from Hood River Valley High School in 2012. While he was in school Rudy made lifelong friends. Rudy always loved helping people. During high school, he was a volunteer fire fighter and he answered countless calls and helped save many lives. Also during that time, he worked with his father, logging trees in the woods. Rudy touched the lives of everyone around him; he was so amazing and his bright smile always lit up the room.

In 2013, Rudy joined the United States Army. He was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas as a tanker crewman for 3 years and 10 months. There he gained forever brothers in arms. He was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army in 2016. Rudy was briefly married to Jessica Cochran, the mother of his two children. After the military, Rudy returned home to Parkdale to be surrounded by family and friends and it was there that he wanted to raise his two beautiful children Rosie Cochran and Caelum Cochran. Rudy had been working at Bounds Excavation for the last few months; he enjoyed the work and the labor it entailed. He was always willing to do any hard work that was thrown his way.

Rudy was loved by many people, he would do anything for anybody; he would give someone the shirt right off his back. He enjoyed hunting, lifting weights, working on his truck and most of all, he loved making great memories with family and friends whether it was in the woods or hanging out at home.
