Dear Roberts Family,
I have been priviledged to know Royce Roberts for over 20 years. We have been friends, neighbors, home teaching companions and Brother's in the Gospel for all this time. I have never known a more humble and loving man. He was always positive in our times together, and was a great student and participant in the Sunday School class I was blessed to teach. He was a willing and knowledgable participant. He often imparted words of council and encouragement. He was a joy to teach and be with. He and I had a sound friendship for which I will always be thankful. He and I were companions as home teachers, and I had the honor to be his family home teacher twice. Recently we shared a time together in such a visit, and after a touching story we admitted that we loved one another. I was asked, with Brother Taylor to give him a blessing on his birthday and during the waning hours of his earthly life. It will be a memory I will always cherish. I know in my heart that he is with his loved ones at this time and catching up on all the news with his family and friends. I look forward to the time we can meet again.
