Condolence: I met Paul while at the University of Cincinnati. We were fraternity brothers during under graduate school. Paul was always there if you needed help. It was Paul who pulled me out of a very dark time in my life, following a failed marriage. I owe a lot to him, and will miss him.

Condolence: I met Paul when we were students the University of Cincinnati in the 60’s. In 1975 when I moved to Seattle he welcomed me to his home. After I moved to Olympia I often went to Seattle and enjoyed going to the Pike Place Market and the International district for meals with Paul. I am proud to call Paul a friend. We will all miss him.

Condolence: I am very saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I will miss his effervescent , ever present smile. I knew him from hiking, and loved hearing his travel tales and agricultural challenges. What a creative mind he had, with the energy to back it up !He gave a lot, lived well, lived inspirationally. Be like Paul !

Condolence: I only met Paul thrice, twice on hikes, one of thess just a couple weeks ago. I felt quite a connection, and so many similarities. Wish I could have had a chance to see more of him. May his spirit soar, and his family and friends feel sweet grief and surrender.

Condolence: The ghost of longing lingers, despite the years apart.
Being around Paul made me smile.
His stories, his ideas, his jokes-- captured most everyone who knew him.
Lucky us -- who had the chance to share time and space with Paul.
He made a difference in the lives of so many of us earthlings. He was a gift.

So very sorry to hear of Paul's sudden passing. Hard to imagine the world without him. He was a good friend to so many and one of the the kindest and most interesting persons I have ever known. I will always remember his smile, his funny quips, and his zest for life.
