I need to clarify that even though Millie loved to be called "Silly Milly" she was not a silly person by any means. The former school teacher was very intelligent and she did indeed have a serious side to her nature......but she loved fun too. We all could learn about goodness by her example. Another thing is that Millie had many visitors that loved her. Family, friends and former students would stop by and show their love to her. That was impressive. She had a very large heart in that tiny body of hers. Blessings, Barbara

Millie was such a dear sweet lady with lots of sparkle in her eyes. Such a treasure!!! She told me that she was called "Silly Millie" when she was younger and absolutely loved that name. Every time I (or anyone else) called her "Silly Millie" she would get the biggest smile on her face and she would just light up. We sang, side by side, at the church service each Sunday when she could still attend. She knew her God and loved to sing His praises!!! Even as she aged, she still had lots of spunk and her interest in this world never waned. I had the pleasure of meeting her children when they visited one time. You could tell that she was truly a loving mother and really enjoyed her children. It was a happy day for them all.
And they reciprocated because she was so wonderful. Who could not love her? She was dearly love by everyone. One day some of us will be able to see our "Silly Millie" again in heaven sans the wheelchair. I personally can't wait to see just how lively she can get. She always put a smile in my heart. See you soon "Silly Millie" with love Barbara
