Mervene Carol Goebel passed away March 10, 2016 in White Salmon, Washington. She was born July 9, 1934 and was 81 at the time of her passing.

A Memorial Service is planned for 3:00 P.M., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Eagle Creek Overlook Park, Cascade Locks, Oregon.

She would be the oldest of four children. She had a sister Darlene and 2 brothers Ernie and Everett. She grew up mainly in Southern Oregon and helped by working on the family farm. Mom worked at many different places i.e. fruit packing warehouses and nursing homes where she was a CNA. She took care of a lot of people there. She also worked at a dry cleaning business, where she felt privileged to wash and press the Portland Trailblazers’ uniforms. She talked about that a lot.

The woman who was a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother will be missed so much. She's left a BIG hole in all of our hearts. As we live each day, the hurt becomes memories and the memories become the comfort that we need...so let's hold on to one another and cherish every day, month and year because our time here is very short.

Momma went to heaven on March 10th, 2016 at 12:10 pm.
