Maurice Clair “Mick” Danielson of The Dalles, Oregon passed away on Friday March 23rd, 2018 at the Oregon Vet’s Home in The Dalles, Oregon. Mick was born on June 5th 1934 in Upland, Nebraska and was 83 years old. He was the oldest of 5 children born to Kenneth and Gertrude Danielson. He grew up in Nebraska on the family farm until he graduated high school.

In 1951 while visiting relatives in Oregon, Mick, would meet his love of 61 years, Beverly “Pam” Danielson. They married on May 27th, 1956 in Portland, Oregon. After the wedding, Mick and Pam moved to Nebraska while Mick was in the Army. During his time in the military, Mick served as a helicopter and aircraft engine mechanic from December 1956 to December 1958. In February of 1959, the couple welcomed their first child Jeffery Scott who was later followed by their daughter Felicia.

Mick loved spending time with friends and family, traveling with his wife and woodworking. As a carpenter, he brought the most amazing things to life, including Christmas ornaments and beautiful homes. He enjoyed all things western and greatly enjoyed his time with all the folks from the cowboy shoots in Wallowa, Oregon. Mick also had a lifelong love of horses and wiener dogs.

Mick was a beloved father, papa, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. We will cherish all of our wonderful memories that we were able to share with him.

Mick is survived by his son Jeffery Danielson of The Dalles, Oregon, Daughter Felicia Radziski (Chuck) of Vancouver Washington; brothers Reed and Terry (Geri) Danielson all of Nebraska, and sister Lonita of Texas; grandchildren Sarah Goodenough (Bradley) of Moro, Oregon, Robert Danielson of North Bend, OR, Joseph Radziski of Vancouver, WA, and Christina Radziski of Vancouver, WA; 3 great grandchildren Emma and Leah Goodenough of Moro, OR and Hayley Radziski of Vancouver, WA and many friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Gertrude Danielson; wife Beverly “Pam” Danielson; grandmother Tilda; brother Butch Danielson (and his wife Audrey) and grandson Jason Danielson.

A viewing will be held 9:00am – 10:30am Monday April 2, 2018, with a service following at 11:00am at Anderson’s Tribute Center – Celilo Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2:00pm at Moro Cemetery, Moro, Oregon.
