Condolence: Luetta was my 7th and 8th grade teacher at Frankton in 1947/1948. But more than a special teacher she was a family friend. My parents Moyne and Peggy Rogers were close friends with Winston and Luetta for many years and we enjoyed many dinners at their house. My Dad always loved telling about her cooking duck for dinner and trying to make gravy which no one could eat as it was nothing but greasy fat. When Winetta was born they were overjoyed and her Dad would sit up all night watching her to make sure she didn't stop breathing. I left Hood River many years ago but still check the obituary notice's. I'm so glad that she lived a good long life as she was a person that truly made a difference in my life.
