Remember When

Hi Mom, I miss and love you so much but I know you are in a better place now and best of all you're with Dad once again, I'm sure you two are having a grand old time. I also know you are watching over my pups Max and Chester, I just know they were so excited to see you I'm sure Max had lots of kisses for you. We have such great memories, remember when you use to make Jr and I silver dollar size pancakes they were the best. Jr said on special days he would get ones that looked like mickey mouse. I must not have had many special days because I don't remember the mickey mouse pancakes thats probably because I always had a fit about going to school, didnt want to go would hold onto the front door knob carrying on like there was no tomorrow but I always ended up going. (what a pain in the butt I was ask my older sister's they will tell you) Then there were the strawberries you and dad raised and worked so hard at side by side. They were the best tasting berries ever! Our hands would turn all red from picking and it sure didnt wash off! I was always so embarrassed when I went out on a date, I would even wash in bleach just trying to get the stain off. Not sure what was worst the strawberry stain or the bleach. When I was younger I would make tunnels and forts in the grass in the lower field while you and dad worked in the berries, you would get so mad at me because I would hide from you. (sorry for making you cry) Remember when dad brought home that pony for me in the back of the car? Dad folded up the back seat and lead that pony right in, saddle and all. So funny to think about now, dont think you could do that with any on the cars these days. That pony was so stubborn, remember when I would try to ride him and he would just sit right down and I'd slide ride off his back to the ground right on to my behind. I dont remember what the ponys name was, I know if you were here you would remember. You remembered everything and never forgot anything we said you were an amazing mom, friend and woman. I love and miss you dearly. I will write again soon. Love Dodie
