JOHN D. BILLODEAU of Hood River passed away July 10th, 2012 at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital with family by his side. He was 88 years of age at the time of his passing.

John was born November 25, 1923 in Preston, Connecticut to Peter and Annie (MacLeod) Billodeau. He was raised in Preston and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in 1938. He moved to Hood River in 1965.

He attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Navy and served our country from August of 1946 until his retirement in November of 1968.

He enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and his involvement in the Hood River Valley Adult Center. He was a member of the Hood River Masonic Lodge and the Hood River Eagles Club.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Hood River Valley Adult Center and sent care of Anderson’s.
