The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jessie Schliebe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Both Jessie and Milt were rocks of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Long Beach, California and very much a part of my growing up there in the 1960's and 1970's. I will always remember Jessie's warm and engaging personality to go with the sweet smile that she had and always a concern for me and my family. She made our little beaded trees for me when I was a boy and macrame lamps for my wedding presents. I still have them. I will always treasure Jessie and Milt. My parents absolutely loved them.
