Life Story for Elise C. Venusti

Elise C.  Venusti
Elise Carol Venusti passed away at her home in Mount Hood, Oregon with family by her side on March 11, 2016.

Elise was born October 26, 1955 in Hackensack, New Jersey to Frank J. and Teresa E. (Recker) Venusti. She grew up in Park Ridge, New Jersey and after high school moved to Tempe, Arizona where she attended Arizona State University where she completed her undergraduate and later master’s.

Elise professionally managed hospitals and moved throughout the States over the years but has called Mount Hood and the Hood River Valley home for the last few years where she was very active in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wings and the Rotary Club.

Elise is survived by her sisters, Christine M. Venusti of Park Ridge, NJ and Susan (and husband, John) Barker of Lakewood, NJ; brother, James J. (and wife, Barbara) Venusti; niece, Sara J. Venusti; nephew, Jonathan J. Venusti. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services are planned for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 17th, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church (1501 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031). Immediately following Elise's Mass all are invited for a time of continued fellowship and sharing at Anderson's Tribute Center where a special video tribute shown and catered reception.

Memorials are encouraged to be made in Elise's name to Hood River Rotary Club for the "Elise Venusti International Women's Scholarship Fund".

Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations) 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
