Condolence: Ed was the first of the "older"skaters in my area to extend his friendship and guidance. Not knowing, he pushed me to be confident in my skate abilities and often made me try tricks that i thought i couldnt do. He was right!! i haven't seen him in many years, and will always be thankful for these valuable lessons he gave me.

Condolence: Wow! I am so sorry to hear this. I lived next door to Ed and his family for years. He was one sweet, cute, funny little kid. I was happy to watch him on Facebook with his adventures. Steve, John and Scott you are in my thoughts today. To his family I am so very sorry for your loss. He was way too young to leave you. God's Speed Ed.

Condolence: I was so sorry to read this in the paper. I knew the Lavelle Family when I was growing up in Maybrook. I didn’t see them for many years and one day while hiking at Minnewaska a ranger pulled over and it was Eddie. He had to remind me who he was because I hadn’t seen him since we were kids. What a beautiful smile and person. I wondered why I hadn’t seen him in years and I read that he moved to Oregon. Rest In Peace and my sincere sympathy to Eddie’s family.
