Condolence From: Teri Wilcox Lynch
Condolence: Duane is my mother's brother. I last saw him at mom's funeral in Nampa. My condolences to Carol and his family. I am sorry for this late condolence but I just heard. My sister, April, and spent the summer with them in Portland when Brad was born and it is still one on my fondest memories. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence From: Linda Siczkar
Condolence: I had the absolute pleasure and forever memory of meeting Duane and Carol from the simple response I sent to the "contact us" email address on the website for Museum of Carousel Art. I had heard it had closed but thought what the heck. Duane did respond, and asked if I had an interest in carousels, which I did. He gave me written directions and I borrowed a friend's van to drive to Mt Hood from Portland OR. This was back in 2013, when I travelled there to attend the ABTC National Specialty.
I was greeted by the sound of an ATV and a barking lab. Duane invited me to explore the barn while he had things to do for hours. I was graced with Carol feeling well enough for a visitor, and spent the afternoon asking her questions, listening to her stories, appreciating her invitation to view her studio and her home.
I cannot express my sincerest condolences on your loss Brad. You had lost your brother about 6 months before I was there, and I have no idea how far along your Mom is since 2013. Your Dad was a very gracious man for letting me explore. I am forever indebted to having been allowed that experience.
All my best to you and your family. I only wish you the best. I know you have alot of work ahead of you with the outstanding Perron Collection. I am a proud member of the National Carousel Association, and now on the Board of Directors. Our deepest condolences.
