The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dan Gaston can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I just found out that we have lost a wonderful person, Dan Gaston. He was fantastic to work with at Hood River Memorial Hospital. He was always happy and played jokes well with us. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with him. Truly the community, but especially the family will miss him dearly. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Virgie and family, I am sure sorry for your loss. Dan was a real stand up guy. I was sure glad to have Dan as a friend for many years. Wether it was working on our restoration on fish runs here being members of NorthWest Steelheaders, or having a few beers at Tip Top or just hanging out with Dan. I had a lot of fun with him.
