J. Stewart
I knew Mrs. Thorne a little. My mother and I lived a few houses away in Prineville. I first saw her when I was out walking on the gravel road, and she passed me while walking with a doberman. Just said a brief hello then. Later on I visited her house when she wanted me to do some sewing for her. She had a boxer at that time. Then she visited our house, and I would also see her and talk at the mailboxes. I moved from Prineville years ago, but have often thought of Mrs. Thorne since, and yesterday I saw her obituary on the Central Oregonian website. My condolences to the family.
