Life Story for Andrew Bene'
Andrew S. Bene’ passed away June 27, 2017 at Portland Providence Medical Center; he was 47 at the time of his passing.
Andrew was born March 25, 1970 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Steve J. Bene’ and Carolyn Diskin. He grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho and in 1984 moved to Hood River, Oregon.
Some of his favorite things were his cats, gardening taking it easy and making life as pleasurable as possible. One of Andrew’s most enduring qualities was his empathy and compassion. He loved contributing to the community and helping young men thru their life lessons. He loved movies life Shawshank Redemption, and he was a big fan of the Rocky movies. He was a great cook and loved photography.
Andrew is survived by; mother, Carolyn Krieg; father, Steven Bene; wife, Amy Bene; and two beautiful girls, Kailie and Tatum French who he missed dearly over the years. He was so looking forward to getting to know them again, and was blessed to have the last 2 years with his oldest daughter Kailie. Andrew’s passing came too soon to begin with Miss Tatum.
A private family service was held on July 6th, 2017 at Idlewilde Cemetery of Hood River.
Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations) 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
