Linda Joyce Campbell, age 70, passed away on December 26, 2011 at her home in Parkdale, Oregon.

Linda was born September 6, 1941 to Steven and Helen (Damron) Sherman in Yakima, WA. She attended Grandview High School and earned her Associates Degree from Yakima Valley Community College. In 1962, she married Gary Campbell in Grandview, WA and together they were blessed with their daughter, Pamela.

In 1997, Linda moved to Parkdale, OR to be with her companion in life, Bill Hirata. Linda enjoyed sewing, bowling with friends, collecting figurines and playing cards.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Ben) Biegler of Yakima, WA; her companion, Bill Hirata of Parkdale, OR; sisters Judy (Don) Dohrman of Yakima, WA and Mary (Bill) Hickathorn; granddaughters, Kelly Biegler of Union Gap, WA, Jenny, Haley and Natalie Biegler of Yakima, WA. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda's family and close friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Friday,
December 30, 2011 at 3pm with a reception following at Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations) 1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
