Condolence: Certain people touch your life and my Uncle Arne was one who touched and made a difference in mine. Uncle Arne was a role model for me as I’m sure he was for many others. He has always been my favorite Uncle. When I was young, he would always tell me I was his favorite niece. I think I was his only niece. He would pretend to “catch” my nose putting his thumb between his index and middle finger. It always made me smile and laugh. Uncle Arne will always be in my thoughts and close to my heart. God Bless the family, friends and all who were fortunate enough to be part of a very special man. RIP Your niece Carol

Condolence: Arne was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by many people. I am Arne’s nephew and though our time together was more quality than quantity, his kindness (and incredible sense of humor) are just a couple of things I will always remember and cherish. My sister (Carol) and I spent several summers in Hood River while growing up and we always looked forward to seeing Grandma, Arne, Fern, Joan, and Mike … such wonderful memories. My condolences go out to Joan and the entire Udelius family. One short prayer … "God, grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference”.
