Condolence From: Kathy Sisson Boyd
Condolence: To Luis, Joe and the Dominguez family: I continue to think about and pray for your entire family and please know you remain in our thoughts and prayers.

I still remember when you first came to our school at Parkdale and the entire family rode our school bus on Trout Creek Ridge and we all worked in the same strawberry fields and farms struggling to make ends meet and reunite with old compadres during the summer breaks. It was hard work but good fun.

Your entire family was always gracious, kind and hardworking and no doubt it was Juanita who made that possible.

Take care and I shall continue to enjoy my Juanita's Tortilla Chips with gusto and promote them wherever I find them. They are a big hit in Spokane, WA with good reason.

Bless you all. Kathy

Condolence: On behalf of the entire Luz and Edward Rodriguez family of Blythe, California, we extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to the children of Juanita Dominguez (Jenny). Jenny and our mother, Luz, had a very strong and lasting friendship, they were "comadres". We will all miss Jenny and we know that she is sitting with our Lord, with hot tortillas in front of them.

Condolence: I remember Juana and I remember the respect my parents had for her also being small business owners in Pine Grove. I've always loved the stories about the move to the Hood River area. Being younger, I knew Maria & Cruz better than the other adult children my parents knew. They always talked with utmost respect for their mother. Losing my own dear mother a short time ago, I understand the grief you face as you mourn your loss and miss her face. My thoughts and prayers for the whole family. An upstanding member of the community and she is missed.

Condolence From: Casa Herrera and the Herrera Family
Condolence: Our condolences and prayers go out to the Dominguez family for the loss of your loved one Mrs. Juana B. Dominguez. Words alone at this time may seem insufficient. We can see that she was blessed and highly favored by God. (Psalm 25, Vs. 13). He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. Fifteen children, forty three grandchildren and twenty nine great-grandchildren confirm were her most valuable treasures. Mrs. Juana's legacy will truly live on forever! Mrs. Juana's personal life demonstrated how ambition, passion and personal sacrifice has touched the lives of so many people. We don't need to worry about Mrs. Juana, we know exactly where she is. (Matthew Chapter 11, Vs. 28-29). Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. The life and legacy of Mrs. Juana and the Dominguez Family parallels ours, "The Herrera Family". We are proud to call your family lifelong friends!
