Condolence: I am saddened to hear that Joan recently passed away. She was a special friend to me while growing up. There were many occasions when I asked Joan to accompany me on the piano when I sang solos. Joan was supportive and reliable, no matter what, and I could always count on her. We had a special bond, she and I, and I have always treasured being her friend.

Condolence: Joan was our classmate at SHS and we attended the U of O together, often riding the bus home, chatting about our lives. It was good to see her at the last reunion and to keep in touch with emails and FB. She'll be missed by all who knew and cared about her.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear of Joan's passing. As well as being classmates for many years, we also shared good times together as Girl Scouts. If was so good to see her at the last SHS class reunion. Joan has been on my mind a lot lately and will remain on my mind. She was a wonderful wife and mother and friend and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. What a joy to know you will all be together again!

Condolence: I just learned of Joan's death and was saddened by the news. What a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her husband and family, and what a wonderful classmate to the members of the Springfield High School Class of 1963. It was a blessing to have her share herself with us at our class reunions, and by email the last few years. I hadn't heard from her for a while and I guess I thought she was doing well and getting busier with life. She certainly fought a good fight!! God was waiting with open arms!
