Franke and I played on the Blair High School B Football team and were good friends during that time period. I graduated in 1969 a year ahead of Franke. I have often wondered after we lost touch what Franke was up to. We played on the Defense and I could always count on Franke to get in on the tackle most times with me. We both really enjoyed our high school football experience. His number was 75 and mine was 74. I just became aware of Franke's passing and it touched m enough to try and find out how he had died. I was able to catch up on his life's journey by reading his obituary. I give my condolences to his family and can say that I was privileged to know him for the two years that we were together at Blair High in Pasadena. Ed Lewis
