Pete and Connie Buttaccio

To Mel Kliens Family, Pete and I sat next to Mel at St. Mary's Catholic Church every Unday, for several years. I looked forward to greeting him each Sunday morning and often prayed for him during the week. He always had a smile and was appreciative of our greetings. I missed him when he was no longer able to attend Mass. However, his son Mark, who had often attended with his dad, became a regular sitting in the same spot. I imagined a much younger Mel sitting there. I did not know of Mel's passing until I attended Mass on Sunday. I am so sorry that I didn't attend the service. I can picture Mel as a smiling 20- something with his dear wife, of 48 years, Irene. What a reunion they must have had! I can see him greeting the sweet Esther, his later companion and wife. Blessings to all the remaining family. I hope you will all be united with the smiling Mel, someday. Connie Buttaccio
