Condolence: Dear Hatch Family, I work at a local grocery store so I only got to know Ida as I rang up her groceries. She always called me "cousin" because I'm related to her husband Mel (my maiden name was Hatch). I regret not getting to know her better outside of chatting with her over the counter. She was sweet and kind and always made me smile. I know she loved her family and friends and will be miss by all.

Condolence: Ida was one of the very special people in my life and she was such a good friend to me while we lived in Hood River.She taught me many things as a young mother and I have several of her recipe's that I treasure. I know she will be missed by her wonderful family and friends. She was a very valuable counselor in the Stake Young Women's presidency and kept a very inexperienced Young Women's president on track. She is an amazing asset to Heaven.
