Mrs. Idamae Doyle passed away at 86 years old on May 22, 2015 in her home. She was born June 20, 1928 by Edwin and Della Shertenleib.

Idamae received her diploma in Santa Cruz, California as a teleprinter operator for the Western Union in April of 1946.

Idamae was married to Robert T. Doyle for 43 years. During that time they owned and operated a small diner in Meachum, Oregon until they moved to Hermiston, Oregon and had two children Rick and Jim. After moving to Portland, she became a member of several square dance clubs. She was an active member of the Church of Athey Creek Christian Fellowship.

During her retirement she enjoyed traveling with her husband. She also had several hobbies and enjoyed helping loved ones and friends.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral service will be held for Idamae at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Anderson's Tribute Center. Interment will follow at Idlewilde Cemetery (980 Tucker Rd., Hood River, Or. 97031).
