Upside down in the stream

A funny memory I have is when Paco and I were mountain biking on hospital hill. It was in the spring time many years ago and there had been a lot of rain so the creeks were very high. I was riding behind Paco trying to keep up. All of a sudden I looked up and saw Paco going head first over the handle bars and landing upside down in the stream, still clipped in to the pedals with his bike upside down on top of him. I thought I was going to have to jump in and rescue him but then all of a sudden his head popped up and he got himself unclipped and I knew he was OK. Only then were we able to laugh out loud about how funny this mishap looked. Thank you for many a good ride, Paco. You will be missed.  Dave Temple
