Condolence: With the passing of Fred Hogg, the world has lost a friend, although his positive influence over the years will continue forever through the people that he has touched. In 1985 when my son joined Cub Scouts in Fullerton, as a parent I needed to understand this new endeavor. Fred was the leader of my first training. Because of his knowledge, inspiration, encouragement, and enthusiasm, I remain a member of the BSA. Thank you, Fred, for all that you have done.

Condolence: We were very saddened to see the short obituary in the OC Register today. We still remember our trip on the Columbia on your boat and the good times together in Fullerton. We will say a prayer for Fred in our own way on the 31st.

Condolence: In all the years I've known your family I still don't know to call him Fred or Neil. Either way, Mr. Hogg was one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He married an amazing woman and together they raised an equally amazing son. My heart is very heavy so I can only imagine the family's pain. RIP Boss.
