Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Douglas "Doug" Talley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Time has passed since Doug's passing, hopefully the family will see this. I served with Doug on the USS Jack and am deeply saddened by this news. I am so sorry for you loss. Doug was my friend and brother Submarine Sailor. He was a good man and friend. I've missed him over the years and will miss him more knowing he is no longer with us. Rest You Oars my Brother, We have the watch.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Doug's illness and passing. It has been over 30 years since we have seen each other. My heart goes out to his family. I have been comforted in the past by this scripture. John 11:25-26.
"I am the resurrection, and the life.'spoke the Master. "He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die'
I also heard this and like it.
As seedlings of God, we barely blossom on earth; we fully flower in heaven."
